If we can claim inspiration, then why can’t anyone else?

Our leaders included.

“What if I told you that your leaders have inside information that guides them, if they care to listen, in how to interact with each other?”

Leaders don’t get to be leaders by following the crowd, and yet they must listen to … who?

Or what?

Are they more in harmony with their so-called enemy leaders than they are with their own people?

Are leaders playing a game with each other, and the rest of us are only spectators, or victims?

A very healthy sign – the ever-higher price of advertising.

“You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time.”

Was it Abraham Lincoln?

The ever-higher price of basic advertising seems to support that it now takes more and more effort (and money) to fool us into believing what our common sense (such as it is) tells us that it just isn’t so.

There’s hope for humanity yet, whatever happens.

If not me, then who?

I’m in no shape to do battle, and yet … somebody has to stand …”

A tenant issue, and I’m a tenant.

And yet, so are all the others.

I’m the oldest one in the building, and I was active, many years ago.

Now, surely it’s someone else’s turn to stand up for the benefit of all, or for anyone who really cares.

That’s the ticket – who really cares?

A tragic situation.

Not the little issue that should be a non-issue, but the seeming reality of indifference to a sense of community.

Is that where we’re all heading?

A paint brush.

A paint brush is not a skateboard.

You can do things with one that you can’t do with the other.

Is it all about skills assessment?

Have we been trying to become what we never had the potential to become?

Is that the future of psycho-therapy?

I remember school counselors helping us to accept our potential to follow certain career paths that we seemed to have a natural ability to succeed in, even though we might enjoy some other.

I enjoyed dancing, and yet I had no sense of balance.

So it was with singing.

I love to sing, and yet, pity those who must listen to me.

I would never have succeeded in a dancing or singing career.

Is life that simple?

Accept our natural skills and work with them?
