93. Spirit tells me that
Feeling is a blend of emotion and thought, and yet it has a cause that is neither.
Something happens that we respond to, depending upon how we feel about what has happened.
If we welcome whatever, then we respond with a blend of positive emotion and thought.
On the other hand, if we don’t like what has just happened, then we feel a negative blend of emotin and thought.
People who feel distressed have a reason for feeling that way.
Something has happened to cause them to respond stressfully.

How far above Middle C have we come as a civilization?
As a country?
As an individual?
Have we moved at all?
Are we meant to move?
Or are we designed to discover our own personal note, and to refine it as much as we can?

95. Spirit tells me that
The good news is that the world not only turns, it also moves forward, and so do we.
It would be so easy to think that we’re not going anywhere.
It’s an illusion.
We can’t not move.
It’s part of what we are.
Of course, speed is optional.
Or is it?
Perhaps, we each have our own inner control system that determines how fast or how slow we develop; physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually.
And there may be no need to rush.
Who sang, “Let’s take it nice and easy…”?

Healing our way to spirituality is the only way to go.
We must let go to reach out.
There’s so much mumbo-jumbo being offered as a way to spirituality.
Even meditation is useless if we’re still holding on to what no longer serves us well.
Release it all, as an old love song goes, “Please release me, let me go … and let me love again.”
We can love the life we live if we live the life we love.

A satisfied mind has found its personal comfort zone.
How many of us have reached it?
There may be no short-cuts to achieving a sense of peace with ourself (or with our Self).
So many distractions, dead-ends, detours, and promises of contentment lure us, if they can, as long as they can, from accepting the reality that our peace of mind doesn’t come from somewhere out there.

A Sunday morning vision.
Picture, if you can, Life as an endless loop of fine energy.
Can you picture Life as an endless loop of fine but powerful energy that weaves into and through each of us, and everything that is?
If that fine thread of Life energy is refined (or contaminated) by who or what it passes through, then it could be as our blood system.
Our blood system carries nutrients to every cell in our physical body, but it also carries any contaminatnts that it picks up along the way, and shares them.
Comments: Note: It isn’t so. Our blood system delivers nutrients to all of our physical body cells. The veins pick up the contaminated air (carbon dioxide) and deliver it to the lungs to be breathed out.

99. Spirit tells me that
Stars don’t shine their light at us.
They may not even know that we exist.
Stars shine because it’s in their nature to shine, and so do we, more or less.
As with stars, we are light and only need to trust in our own light, and let it lead us along Life’s way, along the way that Life designed for us, alone.
Sure, we can see brighter lights, and may choose to blend our own with that of some others, but we might also choose to light our own way.
